Last updated: 5 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wootabase (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit wootabase.com (the “Site”). Wootabase is a community-run, unofficial database for sharing Wooting keyboard profiles and is not affiliated with Wooting. We are based in the United Kingdom and act as the data controller for personal data processed through the Site.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as theme and keyboard layout), record your cookie choices, measure traffic and serve advertising. You can control cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit, via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and through your browser settings. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense

- Cloudflare — the Turnstile CAPTCHA used to prevent spam and abuse.
- Discord — only if you choose to sign in with Discord.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who process data on our behalf.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

8. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Content you post may remain on the Site after your account is closed unless you ask us to remove it. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@wootabase.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
